So a longgg longgg time ago when dinosaur's inhabited the earth... Well actually not that long ago. But it was a couple of weeks back. It was a Sunday I remember, and of course it was probably 10pm and I hadn't even started my homework. You've got your number one procrastinater right here. But anyways, it was raining and thundering like crazy. My dog Haverhill was shooken up about the whole thing and I'm casually on my computer avoiding homework like I said. Brianna and Mike were on the phone with me as well. Mike never fails to call at a late time. He lives in California so its always difficult becuase of the time difference to have a conversation at all. I hanged up on them instantly though, neither of us were talking and I needed to finish what I had been doing so that I could begin my pre-calc homework... And suddenly the lights in my house flickered on and off. It happened about twice or three times. I was freaking the heck out. I'm not the one to be afraid of the dark or anything. But with a rapist let loose around my neighborhood I had built up the image of him creeping up beside me in the dark. I don't know why, I've watched a couple of scary movies in my life unfortunatley. And there was a moment where the lights didn't flicker back on and that's when my heart started racing. I was all alone. I started screaming for help like a lunatic. "MOM!" I called for here quite a lot of times. Too many too count with my fingers and toes. That's when she finally responded, "I ain't getting up you come over here!" She was laying in bed and my dog Haverhill was there along with her. I got up and went to her room. "Thanks alot", I replied when I opened the door. My mother always failed me, it's a good thing I've never actually been in any real life troubles.
