- So I woke up at about 7:30 and got dressed
- I wore two tights and then my costume on top
- I'm not too sure I love the costume though, I look fatter than I already am in it Hahaaaa
- And then I did my hair in a bun to the side
- I practically glued my hair to my head...I looked like a chonga Hahaaaaaa
- and then I gathered up all my things
- my band jacket, sandals, make-up, chips, water, change of clothes, money and well it was a lot...
- My band bag ended up weighing like 35 pounds I'm sure...
- I took my flag bag,
- Which contained an extra rifle...
- just in case one broke in the rifle line.
- And my red and blue flag,
- then I did my make- up at my best friends house,
- I ended up looking like a psychopath though probably LOL
- My make up was not cute at all, and the I messed it up on the bus..It was hillarious, so i ended up doing it all over again
- We went on at 1pm
- So it was burning hot!
- when we got there we stretched and warmed up and the band parents would give us water from time to time
- And the it was time to go on! :DDDDDDDDDD
- I was smiling and performing the entire time!
- and at the end of the run I cryed like a baby :(
- I probably looked really funny considering that at the end of a performance you're always hyperventilating!

- So I was crying at the same time,
- And I was smiling hahaha
It was my last first band competition.
I love doing this, so as it was ending at I was moving I thought about it and just started crying...- ohhhhhhh and not to mention there was a photographer taking pictures of me
- I felt stupid! bahaha
- And then we just marched of the field
- with my chin up high
- and then once off the field I dropped my equipment on the ground and took pictures with the band and colorguard and seniors
- It was nice, usually during the funny pictures my best friend jumps on my back
It was so scaring climbing up the bleachers they have for us when they take our pictures!- The man pointed to me and told me to go in the center at the 3rd to last step
- and then everyone else crowded around not to mention the bleachers were SUPER shaky
- and then they made us fill out a paper
- just in case we wanted the picture
- I went online to check out the ones they take while you perform but the website doesn't have em' up yet
- So i haven't illegally copy pasted them unto my computer yet :/ hahahhaa
- And then our instructors pulled us off to the side and told us we did pretty good, it being our first competition...
- and then i spoke with my best friends' parents who came to watch us...
- then we went to where we have our band trailor parked....
- i looked for my band bag in the midst of the chaos Lol...
- Band bag and instruments everywhere!
- I also drank lots of water because once the ballad began I almost chocked Lol
- There was no spit left in my mouth and I gagged
- all of that happened while I'm smiling during a performance bahhaha
- Then they made us walk all the way to the bus
- It was torture.
- After that day my shoulders were sore from all the heavy things I had to carry such a long way.
- It was so hot too!
- Then we went and sat at the back bleachers because they separate those who perform from those who just watch...
- and I went to the concession stands, there was a huge line...
- I probably skipped a couple of band kids Lol
- actually it was more of a crowd
- there was no change so I waited a while -_________-
- and then I asked for a cheeseburger and a sprite!
- No caffeine Lol
- And thennnnnnnnnnnn I went back to the stands so that I would have the chance to video tape some performances for my vlog!
- Which seems to have no views D:
- and thats all!
- I got sun burnt!!!!!!!!!
- and there was a car crash on the road behind us :(((
- and everyone got up to see what it was
- all you heard was the screeching of the tires and a BAM!
- and I saw the saddest thing in the world
- One of the guard girls who was sitting with the band beside us started crying hysterically...
- she covered her face and was bent down,
- she was practically curling up into a ball,
- and I didn't understand why?
- I thought something horrible had happened behind us...
- and then one of the band moms says aloud that her mother had died in a car crash, I felt so bad.
- then they announced the winners
- We got 2nd place
- Oh wait but it was out of two bands
- so we got last Lol
- We're in class 1A for marching band
- due to the size of the band and what not
- and the only school against us was hialeah
- we were suppose to win like our band director was totally surprised at the results
- So everyone was surprised and the sad part is that
- on flanagans website,
- the school we competed at,
- it said we got first place
- our band got a score of 62 over all and there's got a score of 64
- and we got best percussion and brass
- So there were quite a lot of salutes! :)
- (that's what we do when we win something)
- and then we grabbed our things and left
- we sang a bunch of songs on our way back home Lol
- its an hour and a half away so it's fun
- and that was my super detailed saturday Lol
- Did i mention it smelt like horse poop around the bleachers we sat on
- ?
- It was HORRIBLE.
