LTM days! :)

ARE THE FREAKING BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED ON THURSDAYS! After a great band practice yesterday I was tirededddddd. It was really nice to wake up late today! Practice was awesome yesterday I got a lot done... at the end of the day, I was all sweaty which means I did something, and I learned the entire flag routine.. But then forgot some. BAND PRACTICE IS AWESOME! :)

A Place.

You finally arrive and the ground burns the sole of your feet. You go too far and you might feel something wet against your body. An area of water that's bigger than land it's self. You submerge your self  into it and relax. You float and feel the sun against your face. You lick your lips and it all tastes salty. You come out of the water and feel as if there is a big load on your back. The grains of sand stick to your wet feet. You accidently step on a sand castle, on your way back to sit down. The lifeguard wearing red shorts blows his whistle, the seagulls fly up ahead, and a beach ball fly's across your face. A sudden breeze, and sand falls into your eyes. The UVB rays paint your cheeks red. It's just another day at the beach, as you lay on your spread sheet.

Something i wrote in college writing :)

My mom is the only person i can think of at the moment, and she's tall. She measure's 5'8 and she's thin. She loves to dedicate her time to exercising and eating healthy She works out at the gym and probably looks ten years younger than her actual age. She's a red head and not by nature. She's currently 58 years old. But she is a beautiful woman. Her eyes sparkle all the time, she has very long eye lashes too. Her hair is short and she parts it to the side. When she's nervous, she always files her nails. And when she's guilty of something she always changes the subject. She's a big fat liar too, just like her daughter. But she just can't help it. She loves to drink coffee. Probably three times a day. My mom loves staying at home, and would do anything to save some gas. She's not the smartest woman out there unfortunately and to be honest she lacks some common sense. And she's a horrible driver. She runs over the sidewalk, drives on the opposite side of the road, and goes under the speed limit. Probably someone you'd beep at a lot. But besides her reckless driving and compulsive lying. She's an awesome mom. And i love her a lot. :)

I thought this was pretty funny!

Today was my very last first day of school. My senior year is here and I'm excited. At first i wasn't too happy about my very first day. I woke up early today and attended seminary. I also saw some old friends. And my teachers weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I finally got my schedule changed and i still have to make a few adjustments... I have lunch with all my friends so everything's great. It'll be a harder year but i can do it! :)

Cuba que linda es Cuba, Quien la defiende la quiere mas.

While i was vacationing in Cuba, I had the wonderful opportunity to buy many souvenirs for my friends and relatives back home. I bought bracelets, hand bags, a T-Shirt, a wooden flower, and a tobacco. When i finally arrived back home I didn't know what i was going to give to who... turns out the things i had boughten weren't enough. I didn't end up finding my Band Director, Mr. J, his spoon. Mr. J collects spoons. And i was glad that Cristina liked her jewelry box as did Yanet. Although Cristina doesn't wear jewelry and she kept the box in her car. As she does to all the things i give her. It either hangs from her rear view mirror or doesn't. Brianna and Laura liked their coffee bean purses. And well as to the tobacco, it shall never be smoked.

One of the best things about going to high school is joining the band. It's the greatest thing alive. Yeah i consider Color Guard a part of the band. 'Cause without each other we wouldn't be a band. The band needs us a its auxiliary and we need them as the instrumental part! So yeah we practice together, sweat together, lose together, win together, and We're The mighty Lancer Band all together. A two package deal. We create a show that only lasts a couple of minutes and we put our all into it. OUR ALL. And we create memories together. We also learn to appreciate. The wind, the water, the rain. OH YEAH. Band, Sir. The Color Tards :) From set to set. Movement to movement. Dome or no Dome. We love what we do. No matter what season it may be. Yeah, I don't know what i'd do with out any of this. I'd probably have more time to hang out with friends. Maybe i'd be bored at home at times too. I'd probably also have a better tan. Considering, we like to be farmers. Whatever the case my be, I am thankful. Because I am a part of the John I. Leonard High School Mighty Lancer Marching Band, Oh Yes :)

Happy Birthday Braisy! :)
The Cheesecake Factory was pretty fun. And your friends are cool. Some are cuban others like soccer. Some of everything. I ate a Caesar salad and i am currently still on a diet with certain if ands and buts, I spent a total of $14.82 which was pretty good and took a little extra home. Man hunt was the bomb diggity. The trolley at Cityplace was pretty fun too, especially when we sang happy birthday to you! I hope you post all the pictures on Facebook, the ones of the trees and blue water :D Or just the one that are
Profile picture worthy. This morning i woke up and I'm on a mission to finish The Book of Mormon. I can't wait to get to page 531! I also ate some of the extra salad left over from dinner this morning, and unfortunately haverhill got all crazy and ate the rest! You can't trust that dog :) I left the plate on my couch really quick and when i came back i found him chewing it all up! It was hilarious then i scorned him but felt bad so i gave him the rest :) I am very thankful for my new phone and even though i left it on the trolley, i've got to thank Camilo, he totally saved my life. And my phone! And I also realized that some people never fail to surprise me :) Amen!

Haverhill is a funny dog. And a dangerous one to. I try to take car of him to the best of my abilities. And I'm thankful to have him. He takes some of the loneness away in my life. Probably replaces the need a of a boyfriend and i mean let's face it, Haverhill won't break my heart. Haha but he's great, truly the best. Today i took him out to pee, and i think he marked his territory alright. On every single tree in my back yard. And I'm sure there's quiet a lot of tree's back there. Not to mention he went inside a bush, literally. I was like haverhill! What are you doing?!?! It was hilarious, and then he starting doing his business. I think he was pooping, but i couldn't tell. 'Cause his entire body was hidden. So yeah, there you have it! Haverhill not only pee's on trees, but inside of bushes too. :)

Back from paradise.

Goodness Gracious. It's so good to be back. After a month of being in Cuba everything feels so weird. You have no idea. I feel so overwhelmed. Everything's awkward. I hope this isn't what it feels like when ever I serve a mission and come back. But anyways my family was awesome and even though I'm glad to be back saying good-bye and leaving wasn't easy there's apart of me that still wishes i was there. I met some new faces and saw some old ones. There's no place like home if it isn't Cuba though. Everyone's warming and welcoming. It's insane. And i came back looking black. Well tanner at least. Haverhill is fine. He didn't die and well my friends kept me updated with what happened while i was gone. Laura wrote on my wall everyday like i asked her to and Brianna made me daily videos on her phone. Which i still have to watch and Yanet of course went on my Farmville and Cityville and sent herself things. I got my ap exam scores back. Half happy, half sad. I went to church this sunday. The day after i got back. I went to coral springs for a stake conference. It was crazy i was expecting to come back to a normal sunday at church and completely the opposite is what i experienced. Probably 1,000 people, easily at least. The new Fort Lauderdale mission presidents. A new members meeting filled with the spirit of the lord. It was nice. Too much to handle though. I also got hit on by some soccer player. Antonio/tony/anthony/ant. That was probably the funniest part of the day. The missionaries came over later too. They didn't even tell me though. Which is completely understandable due to the fact that my phone is completely dead and broken. I wasn't even dressed for the occasion though. Shorts and a Tank top. Of course. But besides that, I gave Elder Swain and Rogers their presents. And i told them how i kept the commandments. No beer, rum , or coffee for me.
:)
And i need to go school shopping. Some new jeans perhaps. And that's all. I'm back home. And it's going to take a lot, getting use to all of this.
